Cindy's Hoisin Peanut Butter Dipping Sauce

Makes 4 cups
Ingredient's:
Vegetable oil
1 Tbsp shallots, minced
6 garlic cloves, minced
15 oz. hoisin sauce, preferably Koon Chun brand
5 oz. peanut butter or almond butter
2 Tbsp white vinegar
¼ cup coconut milk
2 ½ cups vegetable or chicken broth
1 Tbsp mushroom seasoning
In a saucepan, heat oil over medium heat, add shallots and garlic. Fry just until it starts turning a light brown color and then add the rest of the ingredients. Lower heat and stir/whisk constantly until all the ingredients are evenly mixed in.
